SANTIAGO
DE COMPOSTELA, the capital of Galicia,
is a dynamic town, with an important and growing administrative
activity -over 15.000 official employees have moved to Santiago-.
It is the capital of Galicia, an emergent region in Spanish
State, and this means that it is a very important business
centre too. Santiago is a town located in the geographical
centre of Galicia, with unsurpassable comunications with
the rest of the Galician capitals, being half an hour from
them by big capacity roads.
Santiago can be reached by air via the international airport,
Lavacolla, wich receives an increasing number of domestic
and international flights every day. This reflects the real
importance of bussiness and tourism of Santiago and the
rest of Autonomous Community of Galicia.
It is located in a new quarter of town, Polígono
de Fontiñas, which is in continual expansion, with
a current population of 15,000 people, and very well communicated
with the new ring road circling Santiago. It is also very
near the administrative offices of the Galician Autonomous
Government and it is located in the centre of the civic
development of the town: The Conference Centre, San Lázaro
football ground, Sar swimming pool complex... all of which
are very near to our Shopping Centre.
